Forgive Us Our Trespasses - NR 071 (2009)
Equal parts funerary lament and celebration, Forgive Us Our Trespasses represents a series of brutal acts of beauty that surge and combine to announce a great sweeping aside, a reclamation of all that is lost before the tides calm, the land settles and the long, peaceful period of healing and rebirth may begin, a sense of quiet triumph descending upon the shattered, empty cities that must now simply lie and wait while the sun slowly gutters out and all is once again cold and dark and still.

Primitive North: split release with Nadja: Robotic Empire (2009)
Primitive North is quite an excellent release. Its massive amount of sound and vision is great. From the stellar packaging to the music to the two bands participating, this is an exemplary release. Both Nadja and A Storm of Light surely make for quite the collaborators, and it shows on the record in every way imaginable. Dare I say that this is a crucial record for the styles of music that these two groups forge? -Scene Point Blank

And We Wept the Black Ocean Within - NR 059 (2008)
Simulataneously tugs at your eco-conscience, love of detuned, piano-wire-thick guitar strings and pummeling, cinematic doom. You can feel the thundering rage of the band's oppressive tarthick din. Terrorizer Magazine |
